From hors d’oeuvres to desserts, here are a few of our family favorites!

Holiday Avocado Deviled Eggs
How to Prepare
1. Cut hard boiled eggs in half, remove yolks and set aside.
2. In bowl, mash together avocado and two cooked egg yolks with a fork.
3. Mix in lime juice, salt and sour cream. Optional: Stir in chopped cilantro or jalapeño.
4. Pipe avocado mixture into each well of the egg whites.
5. Top with a small sprig of fresh cilantro and two small pieces of tomato.

Festive Mug Cakes
1. Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
2. Add in the milk, oil, egg and chocolate chips. Whisk until smooth.
3. Transfer mixture to a microwave-safe mug.
4. Microwave on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute until firm to the touch.
5. Top with your favorite frosting or whipped cream.

Classic Egg Nog
1. Blend together eggs, sugar and salt. Stir in 2 cups milk and transfer to a large saucepan.
2. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes until mixture coats a metal spoon. Do not allow to boil.
3. Remove from heat immediately. Stir in remaining 2 cups milk and vanilla.
4. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
